When to Schedule the First Visit
We recommend scheduling your child’s first visit around one year of age. This appointment gives our team a chance to introduce ourselves and allows your child to establish consistent dental care. We can also answer any questions you have and help you understand what to expect in the next stage of their dental development. If your child is older and has not yet seen a dentist, it’s never too late to begin their dental care! Once their first visit is complete, we recommend scheduling a check-up for your child every six months.
What to Expect
For your child’s first appointment, we recommend filling out the New Patient forms online before their scheduled visit. This will save you time in the office when you arrive. Also bring your photo ID and any insurance information. If your child would feel more comfortable with a small toy, blanket or favorite stuffed animal, they’re welcome to bring it along!
